John has written five books. The most popular, The Loving Dominant, is a nonfiction exploration of the how's and why's of consensual domination and submission play. Two others are fiction. The Torquemada Killer, is a police procedural set in the New York D&S scene; Murder at Roissy is a who-done-it set at an Arizona D&S resort. Another book, Safe Sane Consensual and Fun is an unusual blend of fiction and fact that are intended to be used as seed-stock for the reader's real-life sensual scenarios. Advice and safety information are provided in marginal notes. His latest, High-Tech Toys, is part of Greenery Press' Toy Bag Books series. Dr. Warren is also the author of numerous magazine articles.

After receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee, he has taught at both East Carolina University and the University of Southern Mississippi, and until very recently he ran Diversified Services, a mail order company that provided books and other things for the BDSM community for over a decade. He is now retired and an active member of SPICE in southern Florida.

Libby has been in the scene since 1992 when she met John in NYC. After getting involved in some TES meetings she wanted to help build a similar BDSM communityin Boston. Libby, together with John, founded The Boston Dungeon Society and was instrumental in sheparding BDS from a local bbs into a member run incorporated non-profit BDSM group.

Libby is active in the BDSM scene as an educator, leader and an organizer slut and is an inspirational leader of volunteers. She presents on BDSM topics relating to submission, spirituality, relationships, organization planning and leadership development.

Libby has served on the board of National Coalition of Sexual Freedom and is an Emeritus Board Member of Leather Leadership conference. In the fall of 2004, Libby & John moved to South Florida where they are active in local BDSM community and members of SPICE and SSF. Libby is also well known for giving great
parties.
